Why people look for an alternative to Truco Blyts
Truco Blyts is one of the best-known truco apps in Argentina, with over 10 million downloads on Google Play. It's good, and it's big: teams, tournaments, a tour of the country and a global chat.
But sometimes all you want is one match against one friend. Searches like "truco online sin descargar" and "truco online con amigos" show how often people want exactly that: no app to install on a full phone, no ads, nothing to sign up for. Just a link in the WhatsApp chat and the cards on the table.
What truco on Playboard is
Truco on Playboard is Argentine truco, one on one, with the 40-card Spanish deck: no 8s or 9s, and the classic ranking with the ancho de espada on top.
All the calls are there: truco, retruco and vale cuatro to raise the round, envido, real envido and falta envido to bet on your hand, and irse al mazo when it's time to fold. Matches go to 15 points. We play without flor.
New to the game, or want to settle an argument about the rules? The guide on the Truco page goes through it step by step, and the glossary explains every call. If you play with real cards at home, the truco score keeper keeps the tally for you.
How to play a friend
- Open Truco and press Play now.
- Choose Create playroom, then Copy link.
- Send the link on WhatsApp, or in any other chat.
Your friend opens it in the browser, on a phone or a computer, and the match starts. The playroom has a text chat for the "quiero" that wasn't a good idea. When it ends, the rematch is one tap away.
No one to play? The bot calls truco and envido and bluffs back, and Quick match looks for another player for you.
What Truco Blyts still does better
- Team truco. 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3, with signals to your partner. Ours is one on one only.
- Flor. Blyts lets you play with flor. Ours is sin flor.
- Tournaments. Create one for your friends, or join the tour across Argentina.
- Computer opponents. More than 135 of them, each with its own style. We have one bot.
- The crowd. With over 10 million downloads on Google Play, there's nearly always someone at a table. Our Quick match crowd is much smaller.
If you play in a team, want flor or want to climb a ranking, Blyts is the place. If you want a mano a mano with a friend in thirty seconds, send a link.
